Answers
Homologous organs are those organs which are similar in structure but perform different functions in different animals. They help in studying the evolution.
Eg: limbs of frogs and limbs of lizards
Analogous organs perform the same function though the structure is different in different animals
Eg: wings of birds and wings of bats.
Homologous organs - The organs of different species that have the same basic and internal structure but perform different functions.
For example : Wings of a bird forelimbs of humans forelimbs of lizard etc. are homologous
Analogous organs : The organs of different species that perform the same basic function but do not have a same internal and basic structure are called Analogous organs.
For example: Wings of an insect and wings of a bird.
