Vaccination  is when a vaccine is administered to you (usually by injection). Immunisation is what happens in your body after you have the vaccination. The vaccine stimulates your immune system so that it can recognise the disease and protect you from future infection (i.e. you become immune to the infection).

Immunisation: It is something which you have been given after a infection so that you may be affected by that infection again.

Vaccination: It something which you have been before some infection occurs in you.

Examples. Vaccination for polio from your childhood and this vaccination won't allow your immune system get affected by polio in your entire life.
