Invitation is a noun and is something given in order to invite someone, or request a person to do something...

Invite is mainly used as a verb,to make a formal request to someone, but when the word “invite” is used as a noun, it will mean the same as invitation...

Invitation is a noun whereas invite is a verb.

example of invitation:- Ram gave me invitation of his birthday party.

example of invite:- Did Ram invite you to his birthday party.
