The kharif crops are harvested at the end of monsoon season during September or october. For Example: Paddy,maize,millet,soyabean,groundnut,cotton. Paddy is grown only in rainy season because it requires a lot of water. If wheat is sown in the kharif season,it will not grow well.

The Rabi means, when the crop is harvested. Crops that are grown in the winter season, from November to April are called Rabi Crops. Some of the important rabi crops are wheat, barley, peas, gram and mustard.
