Mass means quantity of the body. It is a scalar quantity which means has only magnitude. Whereas weight is the force of attach of the body by the earth on when its is situated. It is an vector quantity which means has both direction and magnitude

hi friends

Difference between mass and weight
mass is a property of the physical body.
mass is a scalar.
the SI unit of mass is kilogram(kg). 1 kg is equal to 1000 grams(g).
the formula of mass is m=f/a  F= force, A= acceleration.

weight
the weight of an object is usually taken to be the force on the object due to gravity.
weight is the vector.
the SI unit of weight is Newton(N). a mass of 1 kg has a weight of about 9.8.
the formula of weight is w=mg. M= mass, G= gravitational acceleration.

thank you
i hope this will helps you
