metals are malleable, ductile and are good conductor of heat and electricity. they lose electrons. but non metals are brittle and they gain electrons. they are poor conductor of heat and electricity. but metalloids have properties between those of metals and non metals. ex silicon , germanium.

hey friend .....

Mark this answer as branliest if it helped you.....

Elements that have properties of both metalsand nonmetals are called metalloids. They can be shiny or dull and their shape is easily changed. Electricity and heat can travel through metalloids but not as easily as they travel through metals.
