Answer:

Explanation:

Mitochondria:

(1)Mitochondria occur in all the eukaryotic cells. It does not trap energy.

(2)The inner membranes of mitochondria are folded into cristae.

(3)Pigments are absent in mitochondria.

(4)During biological oxi-dation, energy is re-leased and stored in ATP molecules.

(5)Thylakoids are absent.

Chloroplast:

(1)Chloroplasts are found in green cells which perform the function of photosynthesis. It traps energy.

(2)Cristae absent.

(3)Pigments are always present.

(4)ATP is formed in sun-light by thylakoids.

(5)Thylakoids are present.

Mitochondria are present in the cells of all types of aerobic organism like plants and animals, Wheareas. Chloroplast is present in green plants and some algae, protist like Englena.. The inner membrane of mitochondria is folded into cristae while that of a chloroplast, rises into flattened sacs called as thylakoids
