Meiosis has two rounds of genetic separation and cellular division while mitosis only has one of each. In meiosishomologous chromosomes separate leading to daughter cells that are not genetically identical. In mitosis the daughter cells are identical to the parent as well as to each other.

hey dear....!!

-Mitosis consists of one stage whereas
-meiosis consists of two stages.

-Mitosis produces diploid cells (46 chromosomes)
-whereas meiosis produces haploid cells (23 chromosomes).

-Mitosis produces two identical daughter cells -whereas meiosis produces four genetically different daughter cells.
