Moment of some physical quantity is product of the quantity and it's perpendicular distance from origin of the chosen coordinate system. For example. moment of force is the torque. Moment of linear momentum is angular momentum. Moment of a charge is electric dipole moment . There are higher moments( quadrupole etc. moments ) in which higher powers of distances occur. In moment of inertia the square of distances occur. On the other side we have linear momentum  and angular momentum  for particle and angular momentum  for rigid body rotating about some axis
