what is difference between of respiration and breathing

breathing is process of taking in air rich in oxygen and giving out air rich in carbon dioxide but respiration is process of taking in oxygen for oxidation of food to release energy.

respiration includes breathing and transport of oxygen to every cell and the cell to release carbon dioxide while breathing is just inhaling and exhaling of oxygen
