Both amoeba andplasmodium reproduce asexually by fission. But the difference is that amoebaundergoes binary fission.i.e.amoebadivides to produce two daughter amoebae whereas plasmodium undergoes multiple fission.i.e many new organisms are formed simultaneously by a single organism.
