The only common thing between these two conditions, i.e., Presbyopia and Astigmatism is that they both are defects of the eye.
In Presbyopia, there is a difficulty in viewing nearer objects because of the hardening of the lens due to which the light is not refracted properly on the retina.
In Astigmatism, there is no hardening of any type, but the lens is not properly placed and faces a different direction due to which light is not focused on the retina.
