Kharif crops are crops that grow in the rany season
They grow between th months of april to october
eg: rice, maize
Rabi crops are crops that grow in the winter season
they grow between the months of november to march
eg: wheat, mustard

THE CROPS GROWN IN THE WINTER SEASON ARE CALLED RABI CROPS.THEIR TIME PERIODS IS GENERALLY FROM OCT TO MARCH.
EX:WHEAT, PEA, MUSTARD ,LIN SEED ETC...,
KHARIF CROPS
THE CROPS WHICH ARE SOWN IN RAINY ARE CALLED KHARIF CROPS. THE RAINY SEASON IN INDIA IS GENERALLY FROM JUNE TO SEP. PADDY , MAIZE, SOYA BEAN , GROUND NUT ,COTTON ,ETC..., ARE KHARIF CROPS.
