resistance=R
resistivity=rho symbol(plz search in google)
R=rhoxl/A where l=length of wire A= area of its cross section
rho=areal resistance set up per unit length

Hey !

=>Resistance:-
The term resistance , itself , makes clear about what it is.
Resistance means opposition, hence , in physics , resistance of a substance means the ability of the substance to oppose the flow of current through it.
Different kind of substance have different resistances. The substances which offer low resistance( that allow the flow of current through them more easily) are conductors , and those which have high resistance are insulators or bad conductors.
=>SI Unit of resistance is ohm.
=>Resistance depends on length of a material,area of cross section of the wire , temperature. Resistance of a substance varies according to the factors mentioned just before.
----------------------------------------

Now let's see what resistivity is :-
This term is somewhat similar to resistance, right ?
Yes it is !
Resistivity is the property of substances , it gives us a clear idea about its resistances.
Resistivity gives us the information , whether a substance conducts electricity or not.
=> Resistivity depends on the nature of substance.
=> It's SI unit is ohm-metre

Resistivity of a substance does not vary , it is the same.
