when a body slides( moves with all its surface area in contact) over another body,the resistance faced due to sliding friction. on the other hand if a ball rolls ( moves with jst a single point of uts surfce in contct ) over anothr body ,the resisitance offered is a case of rolling friction......hope this wll hlp
