The sky is the region in which sunlight is scattered in the Earth's atmosphere, making it visible from the surface of the planet, while space is everything beyond that. Space can also be defined as a vast area with no atmosphere.
Hope it helps

Sky is the horizon that discerns the earth's atmosphere from extraterrestrial vacuum whereas space is the matrix of three dimensional coordinates of the three spatial axes of space-time we live on. (If by space you meant outer space- it is the space which does not have earth's atmosphere)
