What is difference between sky and space?​

Usually, when we say “sky”, we mean all the vast emptiness above containing the atmosphere. As long as it has colors like blue, yellow etc, it is sky.

Beyond that, it is “space”. There is no atmosphere and the emptiness beyond the sky is always black.

Space lies beyond the sky.

Sky has a parts of layers of atmosphere but space doesn't have any layers of atmosphere.
