Leap days extend both the Sonar and Lunar year, so they do not effect epact calculations for any other dates.

The Sonar Calender is a measure of the Earth's rotation around the Sun.
The Lunar Calender is the maesure of the Moon's rotation around the Earth. A year on the Lunar Calender has 354 days.
