SOLID -
1) Definite shape ,size and volume.
2) Intermolecular forces strongest in solids.
3) Least inter molecular gaps between particles i.e molecules are tightly packed.
4) Not compressible at all.
5) Maximum density.
6) Least kinetic energy of the particles.
LIQUIDS -
1) Definite volume but not shape.
2) Intermediate inter-molecular forces between particles.
3) Intermediate inter-molecular distance between particles.
4) Presence of compressibility .
5) Intermediate density.
6) Intermediate kinetic energy of the particles.
GAS -
1) No definite shape, size and volume.
2) Least inter-molecular forces between the particles.
3) Least inter-molecular distance between the particles.
4) Highly compressible.
5) Least density.
6) High kinetic energy of particles.
