=scalar quantity
=have only magnitude
=speed=distance÷time
velocity
=vector quantity
=have both magnitude and direction
=velocity=displacement÷timr

Speed.....
(1) speed = distance upon time interval
(2) direction is not associated with speed.
(3) speed is scalar quantity.
(4) it is always positive.
(5) its value cannot be zero for a moving object.
VELOCITY....
(1) velocity = displacement upon time interval
(2) direction is not associated with velocity.
(3) velocity is a vector quantity.
(4) it can be positive or negative.
(5) its value is zero if initial or final point is same.
