It shines on it's own
It is larger in size compared to planet
Elements like Hydrogen and helium are found
High temperature compared to planet

Planets

It does not shine on it's own
It is smaller
Elements like Carbon , oxygen , CO2 etc
Low temperature .
some planets suitable for life
