●Sustainable agriculture can feed the world without damaging the environment or threatening human health.  It is a way of growing food in an ecologically and ethically responsible manner.  Sustainable crop production practices can lead to higher yields over time, with less need for expensive and environmentally damaging inputs

●Organic farming can generally be classified as sustainable agriculture. However, it is important to distinguish between the two.  Organic products can be produced on large industrial farms that are not sustainable.  Meanwhile,  not certified organic can produce food using methods that will sustain the farm’s productivity for generations.
