what is difference between Tangential Velocity and linear velocity , explain with example?

Linear velocity is the velocity in a line, while tangential velocity is the velocity in the direction tangential to a circle. Essentially, both the terms don't have major differences. The only difference is when we use them. Linear Velocity: It refers to the speed of a body/particle when it is moving in straight line
