A vasectomy is a very common procedure done for sterility purposes. A man cannot impregnate a woman.

A vasectomy does NOT affect a man’s sexual abilities or desires. The testicles are left intact!

A typical male has two tubes located in the scrotal sac, one coming from each testicle to the prostate, called the vas deferens. The vas carry sperm and is mixed with prostate lubrication to form ejaculate. During a vasectomy, a tiny incision is made in the scrotal sac (or two incisions, depending on physician preference), the vas deferens is cut into two pieces, each end is sealed by cautery, then replaced.

Most vasectomies I have assisted with, there were no sutures needed in the scrotum as the incision was so small. One surgeon only made one incision, he worked on both sides from one incision! Vasectomies are usually an office procedure that take less than 30 minutes.

i hope this may help you
