Vein is thin, Arteries are thick

They carry blood away from the heart to various organs of the body

And Veins Collect the blood from different organs and bring it back to the heart

The Difference between veins and arteries are as follows

Arteries:
1 they carry oxygenated blood from the left ventricle to the body
2 they are thickly walled
3 the pressure of blood inside the arteries is very high as the blood is to be passed to the whole body
4 they do not contain any flaps

Veins:
1 carry deoxygenated blood from the body to the right auricle
2 they are thin-walled
3 the pressure inside the veins is low
4 they contain flaps which prevent the backward flow of the blood
