Unlike other microorganisms, viruses cannot reproduce until they enter a living cell of an organism or a host. They are on the borderline of living and dead, so they haven't even been classified officially.

Viruses are the smallest of all the microorganisms
bacteria are single - celled ( unicellular) microorganisms
bacteria are larger than viruses
fungi : they feed on decaying organic matter ( saprophyte) or on /in the body of living organisms ( parasites)
algae : Algae are unicellular or multicellular organisms
they are green organisms capable of preparing their own food
they live in water
protozoa : unicellular animals
we cannot prepare their own food
examples are amoeba , paramecium, trypanosoma, plasmodium
