Viscosity is themeasure of internal resistance of afluid which is basically its resistance to flow. So viscous liquids show this characteristic such as ketchup due to high resistance. Non-viscous liquids tonot have enough internal resistance to obstruct the flow of a fluid.

Viscous and Non-viscous fluid:
• The fluids that have no resistance or zero resistance to internal friction are known as non- viscous fluids.
• The fluid which has more resistance to flow is called viscous fluid. Viscosity is a property of a fluid, which is a degree of the amount of resistance between the fluid layers.
