SPERMATOGENESIS:-

1.It takes place in testis.

2. Each primary spermatocyte produces four number of sperms.

3. The process is completed within the testis.

4. No polar bodies are formed.

5. It is completed much before the fertilization.

6. The growth phase is shorter duration.

OOGENESIS :-

============

1. It takes place in ovary.

2. Each primary oocyte produces one ovum.

3. The process is completed outside the ovary.

4. Polar bodies are formed.

5. It is completed during fertilization.

6. The growth phase is longer duration.
