2. It causes atmospheric pollution.
3. It is a limited resource. It's sources are exhaustible like coal and petroleum.
4. It is expensive in long run.

HYDRO ELECTRICITY:-

1. Hydroelectricity is generated by the force of running water falling on turbines.
2. It does not cause any atmospheric pollution.
3. It is an unlimited resource. For eg water, sunlight etc.
4. It is cheaper in the long run.
