THERMAL ELECTRICITY:-
- Thermal electricity is generated by coal or petroleum.
- It causes atmospheric pollution.
- It is a limited resource. It's sources are exhaustible like coal and petroleum.
- It is expensive in long run.
HYDRO ELECTRICITY:-
- Hydroelectricity is generated by the force of running water falling on turbines.
- It does not cause any atmospheric pollution.
- It is an unlimited resource. For eg water, sunlight etc.
- It is cheaper in the long run.
