Employees
The term "employee" refers, in a general sense, to anyone who works for someone else in exchange for monetary compensation. In the U.S., the term "employee" sometimes has more specific connotations, referring to a member of a staff. This distinguishes employees from independent contractors, who work for compensation but don't belong to any particular staff.
Labour
All employees are part of the labor force, but the labor force also includes people on unemployment who are seeking work, as well as the employers who provide employees with compensation. Although a job seeker would be considered part of the labor force, she wouldn't qualify as an employee.
