instantaneous velocity of an object at a particular time is equal to the slope of its position versus time graph at that time on the other hand the average velocity average velocity to x is equal to the slope of the line joining the two points on the position vs time graph

INSTANTANEOUS VELOCITY
==========================

THE VELOCITY OF ANY OBJECT AT ANY INSTANT OF TIME IS CALLED INSTANTANEOUS VELOCITY. ITS UNIT IS M/S .
INSTANTANEOUS VELOCITY IS GIVEN BY THE SLOPE OF POSITION TIME GRAPH.

AVERAGE VELOCITY
==================

AVERAGE VELOCITY IS THE RATIO OF TOTAL DISPLACEMENT TO THE TOTAL TIME TAKEN.
ITS UNIT IS ALSO M/S .IT IS GIVEN BY THE SLOPE OF LINE JOINING THE TWO POINTS ON THE POSITION TIME GRAPH.
