The difference between a compound sentence and  complex sentence is that a compound sentence has two independent clauses and a  complex sentence has one independent clause and one dependent clause. A sentenceis a group of words that has a subject and a predicate.‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

if simple two sentences are joined with the word 'or','and','but' then it is compound sentence

if any of the type of subordinate clause comes in sentence then it is complex sentence
