Weedicides are chemicals used for removal of weeds, whereas pesticides are chemicals to prevent insects or worms or any other organism from eating away the crop

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PESTICIDE AND WEEDICIDE

PESTICIDE -

Pesticides are used to control or kill the pests such as Grasshoppers and Aphids, which will cause damage to the corps and grains.This is the reason why farmers use Pesticides.

WEEDICIDE-

Weedicides are used to remove unwanted or undesirable plants from the fields. this unwanted/undesirable plants compete with crop plants for Water,Nutrients ,Light and Space. Farmers use weedicides such as 2-4 D'chloro fhynoxy acitic acid to control or kill the weeds.
