pinna is cartilagenous structure that is formed of skin and Elastic cartilage, it collect sound waves in direct them into auditory canal.
tympanum is the external ear separated from middle ear by membrane structure called as a ear drum or tympanum.

Answer: Pinna: It is the visible part of ear it is in a flap like structure it leads to ear canal .It is crumpled and made up of cartilage it produces wax and oil this prevent the dust,other particles from entering

Tympanum: it is also known as ear drum and it is present in end of auditory meatus between external and middle ear
