In the parliamentary system of government , the president is nominal executive authority and the Prime Ministers the real executive Authority. POWERS : The president has vast powers and functions .however . These powers and functions are actually exercised by the Prime Minister and the council of Minister .

a pm is directly elected by the people but a president is indirectly elected by the people.

president has the veto power but pm does not have.

pm has less work accordingly compared to president but in real aspect pm has more work than president

Hope it helps
