What is differn've between mass and weight of an objects. Wiil the mass and weight on the earth be same as their values on mars? why?

SI unit is kg kilogram
weight is the force of attraction b/w earth and object SI unit is N newton

Mass is a scalar quantity and weight is a vector quantity. The SI unit of mass is Kilogram and the SI unit of weight is Newton. The quantity of a matter contained in a body is called its mass. The gravitational pull of the Earth pull everything towards its centre is called its weight.
