Diffuse reflection is the reflection of light or other waves or particles from a surface such that a ray incident on the surface is scattered at many angles rather than at just one angle as in the case of specular reflection.

What is diffuse reflection ?

=> Diffused Reflection: When light falls on a rough surface (like a stone, your body, your clothes etc), all the parallel incident rays are not reflected parallel to each other. This is called Diffused Reflection. Note: Both Regular and Diffused Reflection obey the Laws of Reflection.
