Diffusion:- The spreading out and mixing of a substance with another substance due to the motion of its particles is called Diffusion.

According to Brownian Motion all the particles of a substance are constantly moving in a zig-zag manner in all directions and thus due to this motion all the particles of a substance gain kinetic energy. When we increase the temperature of a substance then the particles of that substance gain more kinetic energy and starts moving even faster.

Because of their kinetic energy at temperatures above absolute zero, all particles undergo diffusion.
