Process includes breaking down of large insoluble food molecules into small water-soluble food molecules so that they can be absorbed into the watery blood plasma. These smaller substances are absorbed through the small intestine into the blood stream.  Water and minerals which are absorbed through the walls of small intestine are necessary for body. After all nutritions are taken up, it is then removed out of the body in the form of faeces. Kidneys purify impure blood containing uric acid, which then forms urine. Purification in kidney is a different process. Hope it helps... It's the whole process... Heya!
