Pressure Gradient is defined as the change in pressure per unit distance. In other words pressure change over a unit distance is known as Pressure Gradient.

Pressure gradient = pressure /distance
____________________________________
# where pressure = force / area
____________________________________
# and force =mass × acceleration
= m×LT-1
={ mLT-1}
____________________________________
pressure =mLT-1/L2
={mL-1T-2}
____________________________________
so, pressure gradient = pressure / distance
= mL-1T-2/L
= {mL-2T-2}
