Diploid number are made up of two complete haploid sets of homologous chromosomes (2n).
Diploid cells are the cells which possess diploid number of chromosomes.
Diploid cells reproduce by mitosis two exact copies of chromosomes.
Diploid cells are all mostly somatic cells except for gonadial cells.

Some eg are Skin cells, Blood cells, Muscle cells etc
