Dipole movement(P) is product of the separation of the ends of a dipole and the magnitude of the charges.

Torque= PE sin theta

= 4 × 10^-9 × 5 × 10^4 sin30°

= 4 × 10^-9 × 5 × 10^4 × 1/2

= 20 × 10^-5

= 2 × 10^-4 Nm

\hookrightarrow Electric dipole moment, \sf p\:=\:4\times 10^{-9}C\,m

 ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

\hookrightarrow Angle made by p with a uniform electric field, \sf \theta\:=\:30^{\circ}

 ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

\hookrightarrow Electric field, \sf E\:=\:5\times 10^4N\,C^{-1}

 ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

Torque acting on the dipole is given by the relation

\hookrightarrow \sf \tau\:=\:pE\sin \theta

 ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

\sf \tau\:=\:4\times 10^{-9}\times 5\times 10^4\times \sin\,30

 ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

= \sf ^{10}\cancel{20}\times 10^{-5}\times \dfrac{1}{\cancel{2}_1}

 ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

= \sf 10^{-4}Nm

 ‎

\hookrightarrow Hence, the magnitude of torque acting on the dipole is \sf{\pink{10^{-4}Nm}}
