Direct variation direct proportion a relationship between two variables in which one is constant multiple of the other in particular when one variable changes the other changes in proportion to the first if B is directly proportional to A the equation is in the form of b=ka(where k is constant)

direct proportion is related to ratio and proportion that is if they vary in such condition that it remains in definite proportion .....and direct variation is just same as it is related to variation.....in different books we get different names...
