Disguised unemployment is also known as hidden unemployment. It is the situation in which a person seems that he is employed but in actuall sense he is unemployed and not idle

If he or she is removed from the work then there would be no effect on production.

Example:-

If in a family there are 7 members working on a small farm. If some of them are removed then there would be no effect on production.

Disguised Unemployment is the kind of unemployment where no. of people working there are more than they are needed. But the production doesn't affect even if the extra employees or workers are removed.

EG: In a farm 17 people work but only 13 are needed so even if the extra 4 people are removed, the production or the harvest would not change or won't get affected.
