Hi friend

when HCl is reacted with zinc Hydrogen is replaced by zinc

2HCl +Zn=›ZnCl2+H2

Zinc (Zn) displaces Hydrogen from Hydrochloric acid.

i.e, 2HCl + Zn -----> ZnCl2 + H2
