◆ The displacement covered by a body is distance in a particular direction.

◆ It is denoted by S , generally it is a shortest distance between initial and final point.

◆ SI unit is m , it is a vector quantity.

The path length covered by a body in a time is called as displacement.

Displacement can be count by the difference between the final position and initial position.
