Reaction in which more reactive metal displaces or replaces less reactive metal to form a solution is called displacement reaction

Eg:- H²SO⁴ + Zn → ZnSo⁴ + H²

H²So⁴ + Fe → FeSo⁴ + H²

Here ² and ⁴ are number of elements not powers
