Displacement reaction is the reaction in which more reactive metal displaces the less reactive metal from its salt solution.
Ex:Fe +CuSo4=FeSO4+Cu.

Hope the answer will help you.

A chemical reaction in which an element replaces another from a compound forming a new substance and the displaced element is called displacement reaction.

For example:
                      Zinc(Zn) + CopperSulphate(CuSo4) = Zinc Sulphate(ZnSo4) + Copper(Cu)
