Examples:
zinc displacing iron ions from iron(II) sulfate solution.
nickel displacing copper from copper(II) nitrate solution.
copper displacing silver from silver(I) nitrate solution.
AB + C → AC + B
Fe + CuSO₄ → FeSO₄ + Cu
AgNO₃ + NaCl → AgCl + NaNO₃
