Hi Friend
_______
In the displacement reaction one substance displace another one .
Example CuSO4+Fe -------> FeSO4+Cu
In this reaction Iron displace copper from copper sulphate and form copper + ferrous sulfate.

Displacement reaction of metals is a chemical reaction in which a more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal from its compound.
The most common example of displacement of metals is the reaction of iron nails with copper sulphate solution.
CuSO4 + Fe ------> FeSO4 + Cu
Here iron (Fe) a more reactive metal displaces copper (Cu), a less reactive metal from its sulfate solution (CuSO4)
The color of the solution changes from blue to green due to formation of FeSO4 and copper deposits on the nail as brown coating
